Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is zone B-2 General Business and is currently undeveloped and is located in an area of Saginaw that is characterized by undeveloped, commercial, industrial, and/or residential properties, a river, a railroad, surface roadways, natural gas service, electrical service, and municipal water and sewer utilities. The subject property was originally developed for commercial purposes in the late 1800s for use as stables, retail store and barber shop. The property has been vacant for several years and the Saginaw County Land Bank is trying to promote the redevelopment of the property. The property is impacted with various metals adn chlorinated solvents from the historic activities conducted on and adjacent to the property

Former Use: The subject property was originally developed for commercial purposes in the late 1800s for use as stables, retail store and barber shop. Currently the Sagianw LBA owns the site, which was acquired through tax reversion in 2010. This area of Saginaw was developed for commercial and industial purposes, including a dry cleaners on the adjoining property.
