Additional Property Attributes

Prior owner demolished site building prior the City of Arlington acquire the site. The site is part of a redevelopment project associated with the former Arlington School located on the adjacent property to the northeast. IDNR issued letter stating no additional assessment or cleanup required.

Former Use: The site contained commercial development from approximately 1916 to 2010. This includes a garage and wagon shop in 1916, and a filling station, auto repair/maintenance and storage from 1940-2010. The property owner demolished the structure in 2010. James Rose owned the site during the completion of the Phase I and II ESA reports. The City acquired the site after satisfying its due diligence requirements.
