Property Highlights

Former Use: This property is one of five parcels which comprise the subject site. Development in the area of the site dates back to the 1890s, when railroad tracks were present adjacent to the eastern boundary of the site. A railroad station was present at the northeastern portion of the site at this time and was later relocated within the same area of the site and used as a residence. A house was constructed at the northwestern portion of the site in 1892. A Town library and post office building was constructed at the northeastern portion of the site in the 1950s. The former train station/residence at the northeastern portion of the site was demolished in 2000. The former Town library and post office building was relocated from the site.
