Additional Property Attributes

Founded in 1922, Notre Dame College has long served northeast Ohio as a premier small college that provides an educational experience that focuses on personal, professional and global responsibility. Notre Dame College continues its unprecedented growth and development. Fall 2010 enrollment totaled 2,300 students, more than triple the past six years. The Colleges traditional student population reflects the cultural mix of the County. Ninety-eight percent of the students receive need-based aid. Institutional grants and aid to students for fiscal year 2009-2010 was 11.7 million and will increase in 2010-11. Most NDC students remain in the area and contribute to the economic development and workforce of Cuyahoga County. NDC would like to conduct asbestos abatement activities in multiple areas of the campus, including: the Administration Building, Harks Hall, Connelly Center, Providence Hall, and the Library. NDC has requested funding through the Countys USEPA ARRA BRLF grant to conduct the asbestos abatement. The County would subgrant the funds, in an amount not-to-exceed 200,000, to NDC for the asbestos cleanup.
