Additional Property Attributes

The Western portion of the property is occupied by the Trinity Church, a 70ft X 35ft, two story wooden building that was constructed in 1946. The Church was used until 2008, but has remained vacant since. This portion of the property was formerly occupied by a hotel complex which included a movie theater, dance hall, barber shop, restaurant and grocery store, which was all destroyed by fire in 1934. The Town of Danby will receive a Municipal Planning Grant to redevelop the site into a new town office and community center.
