Additional Property Attributes

Due to the presence of a slab from a building/ structure, the potential exists for lead based paint to be a concern for the site. Some investigation may be necessary prior to use as a community garden.

Former Use: The subject site consists of two structures, including a small concrete pad and a sub-grade concrete structure. The 6 x 10 concrete pad remains on-site and is thought to be the remains of an old patio. The sub-grade concrete structure is 3 in diameter, and seems to be 6 to 10 feet deep. Decaying leaves were observed on the bottom of the structure, and is believed to have been associated with the old housing structures water or waste water disposal. No evidence of chemical use or storage were noted. No signs of stained soils, stressed vegetation, or dumping were observed. The site is currently owned by The City of Houston.
