Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of 2.41 acres of land developed with an approximately 10,000 square-foot, one-story masonry block building. The building was used for storage of items including household items, bicycles, and various watercraft. The remainder of the Property consisted of grass-covered and gravel-covered areas. The Property was located on the southeast corner of Spring Street and Bridge Street. Bird Creek adjoined the east Property boundary. Residences adjoined the Property to the west, north, and east. Grass-covered land was present to the south. Between 1941 and 1949, the Property was developed with two buildings located on the west and central portions of the Property. The remainder of the Property appeared to be grass and tree-covered land. Access drives entered the northwest and southwest portions of the Property. By 2012, one building was present on the central portion of the Property. The buildings were operated as Salvo Tool and Engineering Company from at least 1949 until 2009. Surrounding areas consisted of commercial and residential developments to the west, north, and east. Vacant land was present south of the Property.
