Additional Property Attributes

The Site consists of a two-story building which was constructed in the early 1900s. The building was damaged in a frre in June of 2007 and is condemned and waiting demolition. The building is structurally unsafe and is a hazard to the surrounding community.

Former Use: Building was damaged in a fire. The City will acquire the building and demolish it. Asbestos removal is a major concern. Original use was a Federal Bank Building built in 1909. It was later used as a drug store / soda fountain facility for many years and the roof was being repaired on June 19, 2007 in which a fire broke out and has sustained major damage. The building is not registered as a historic structure.
