"The Village CDA acquired the property through a condemnation process in December 2006 and removed the building remnants and debris from the site. In late 2007 and early 2008, a developer considered building an apartment on the property and the Village helped facilitate through remediation planning for the removal and onsite capping of impacted soil during redevelopment. No development has moved forward to date."

Former Use: Property owned by meat packing company from the mid 1930s through the mid 1970s, but was not developed. Property was developed with one sheet metal pole building in the late 1970s for a private individuals storage and maintenance of a seaplane. Property was also used for outdoor storage of used construction equipment, inoperable automobiles, and miscellaneous debris. The building was destroyed by fire in late 2006. The current owner acquired the property through a condemnation process in December 2006 and removed the building remnants and debris from the site.
