"Property has been redeveloped with a new retail structure which ties in with the larger retail development including another EPA-funded Brownfields assessment site at 811 Pilgrim Way. Assessment grant funded Phase I/II and remediation planning which facilitated property transfer to the new developer, definition of areas of impact to avoid or manage during construction, approval from the WDNR to re-deposit and cap impacted soil that needed to be disturbed for the redevelopment, and WDNR approval of natural attenuation to address groundwater conditions in the former tank and auto maintenance areas. These action leveraged approximately $7M in private investment in the new retail development. Corrective action is broken into two parts because a portion was completed prior to the end of the grant period (9/30/2009), and the main redevelopment with associated soil movement and capping/re-capping occurred in 2010."

Former Use: The property was developed for agricultural use from at least 1936 until 1976. the property was then developed with a former formerly developed as an automobile dealership with petroleum fuel USTs and a vehicle maintenance garage through the mid 2000s.
