Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Based on information obtained during the Phase I ESA, the earliest available records for the subject property were 1938 and the property appeared to have been undeveloped at this time. Between 1938 and sometime during the 50s or early 60s, the subject property was developed with the existing building structure. The subject property was reportedly used for the operation of an aluminum siding sales business until the mid to late 1980s. During this period of time, the northern portion of the building was also used for a small apartment. A 500-gallon gasoline underground storage tank UST was had been located on the subject property for the fueling of business vehicles. This UST was removed in the 1980s at the time the building was sold and utilized for the storage of retail merchandise associated with the operation of the adjoining property as a hardware store. In 1995, the subject property was sold and utilized for the operation of a commercial vinyl lettering and sign business and apartment. At the time, this business closed and the subject property has remained vacant and unoccupied. At the time the Phase I ESA site reconnaissance activities were completed on September 16, 2010, the subject property consisted of the commercial building, the interior of which has sustained some water damage from a broken pipe from the artesian well. The exterior of the building was in reasonable condition.
