Additional Property Attributes

The property has been deglected for decades. The City of Cresco intended to acquire, remove asbestos and deconstruct the buildings. The property was acquired by a private investor prior to Phase II and asbestos survey activities were conducted. Private investor plans to restore the property with an estimated investmate of 450,000 and creation of 8 redevelopment and commercial jobs created. Upper floor was a dance has with tin ceilings and wooden floors. Owner is working on restoration.

Former Use: According to available historical documents, the property contained a church in 1894 and commercial development from 1902-2004. Past uses include a warehouse, radio condenser manufacturer, an office building, tractor repair shop, and various retail stores. The property has remained vacant since 2004.
