Additional Property Attributes

The City plans to demolish the existing metal warehouse building on the Property, and redevelop the Property as a community park, consisting of a gazebo and asphalt parking.

Former Use: Based on historical records research, the Property was used as a railroad depot from 1884 to approximately 1973. By 1977, the current pole-barn structures were constructed on the Property. From 1978 to 2010, the buildings on the Property were occupied by Zeeb Fertilizer, Central Michigan Lumber, Wolohan Lumber, F.C. Mason Company and Smith Propane & Oil. At the time of site assessments, Smith Propane & Oil and F.C. Mason Company stored equipment on the 205 East Railroad Street parcel. The 307 East Railroad Street parcel was vacant.
