Additional Property Attributes

The subject building was originally constructed in 1910. The current building contains a total of 5,775-square feet of floor space, which is divided into offices, storage areas, and bathrooms. The 2-story building contains a sub-basement level and a basement level. A concrete paved parking area is located to the south of the subject building. Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the first developed use of the subject property occurred in at least 1892, when the property was occupied by a former building that was utilized as an artificial stone works and marble warehouse. The former building was then demolished prior to the construction of the majority of the current subject building in 1910. An addition was constructed to the western portion of the building sometime between 1914 and 1937. The current building was initially occupied by the offices for the Rikerd Lumber Company, which operated a lumber yard and planing mill on properties to the south and west of the subject property. The Rikerd Lumber Company operated offices at the subject property until at least 1945. . From at least 1949 until 2010, the subject property was occupied by the Mill Supplies Corporation, which was a distributor of industrial equipment and tools i.e., clamps, grinding wheels, cabinets, paint, etc.. Operations within the subject building generally consisted of typical office and retail activities.
