Additional Property Attributes

This is an 1882 red-brick, block type, 4-story building with a flat tar gravel roof and brickstone foundation. It has plaster-covered plywood walls and a concrete-covered basement floor. The building is fully-sprinklered and is heated by natural gas. The lot next door was created when an adjoining building burned down about 25 years ago.

Former Use: This site is along the main downtown section of historic Washington Street, along Routes 110 and 113, near Restaurant Row and the former shoe mill district. This 1882 property has been a ground-level commercial store with upper-floor storage for more than 3 decades, but previously had industrial use. It is being considered for a mixed-use commercial-residential reuse.
