Additional Property Attributes

This is a 4-story commercial building in Downtown Haverhill on Route 113 along the Merrimack River, separated from the River by the floodwall levee. This early-1900's block- brickstone building has a wooden with a flat membrane roof, with brick exterior sides. It features a concrete basement floor with gas steam heat and plaster walls. However, it is believed to have an oil tank at some point.

Former Use: This is a 4-story commercial building in Downtown Haverhill on Route 113 along the Merrimack River, separated from the River by the floodwall levee. It has been a commercial furniture store for the past 5 decades, but has had other uses prior to this point. It has been owned by Norman Newman of Newman's Furniture since 1963. It is fully-sprinklered and has a freight elevator. It is being considered as part of a mixed use first floor commercial, upper floor office or residential development, with potential riverfront access in the back.
