Property Highlights

This property is split up into 3 parcels for cleanup purposes. The property will be known as Parcels A, B, and C. Parcel A is situated north of State Road 66 and east of County Road 1240 East. Parcel B is situated north of State Road 66 and west of County Road 1240 East, and Parcel C is situated south of State Road 66.U.S. EPA Cooperative Agreement BF00E00888 addresses only parcel A for cleanup. Parcel A contains a storage building at the northwest corner of the parcel. The majority of Parcel A consists of wooded areas, and oil refinery equipment.

Former Use: The property historically operated as an oil refinery and a gasoline station until the 1970s. The review of recorded land title records identified Troy Refining Company, Jarvis Refining Company, Somerset Oil, Inc., and United Energy as previous owners from 1948 to 1996.
