Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the Phase I ESA, the site was used as a dry cleaning pick-up facility. However, the site had been used as an on-site dry cleaning facility in the past back - dating to the 1960's. This historical use and potential impacts were identified as an REC. No off-site RECs were identified. Land use as an active dry cleaning facilty is based on historical directory review, Sanborn Maps and observations made during the 2012 site visit that revealed areas of former machinery. The site occupant also indicated the site used to perform on-site dry cleaning services, and identified the areas formerly containing machinery and propane tanks.

Former Use: Property is a dry cleaning pick-up facility. However, historical use included on-site dry cleaning from 1946-1994. Terracon conducted limited soil and groundwater assessment in September 2016. Contamination was not reported above CTLs by the laboratory; however, interior soils at one boring location exhibited a strong petroleum odor. Potential vapor issue is unknown since a vapor assessment was not conducted.
