Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is bound by the Fox River to the east and south and by upland areas to the north and west. The upland areas are occupied by residential neighborhoods. Southwestern portions of the site contain right-of-ways owned by the Fox River Navigation Authority and the US Army Corps of Engineers. The right-or-ways are used to maintain Fox River Dam Number 14, which is anchored to the east of the Site. The Site contains a 55,564 square foot building that was used as a dairy whey plant from the 1950s to 2003. The bulding is currently vacant and unoccupied. The remainder of the site generally consistes of limited paved and gravel/grass areas bounded by brush and stunted trees. A head canal (raceway)branches from the Fox River and enters the Site from the south. The head raceway flows north through the Site and bends sharply to the east, flowing into a building raceway.
