Additional Property Attributes

Based on a Phase 1 ESA completed in April 2012, RECs include the historical presense of an on-site gasoline storage tank, adjacent historical dry cleaning facility, and adjacent/nearby auto repair facilities. Additional services included asbestos, lead-based paint, and indoor-air quality screenings associated with the on-site structure. Results of the screenings identified asbestos-containing materials in vinyl floor sheeting and elevated levels of fungal spores indicative of potential water instrusion. A Phase 2 ESA completed in August 2012 revealed PAH contamination in one on-site soil sample. While the contaminant is likely associated with urban land use (not an on-site release), additional/confirmatory sampling has been recommended to address the regulatory exceedance of this contaminant.

Former Use: Property currently includes a two-story structure with potential historical value, currently being used for municipal offices. Previous land uses have included a fire station, jail, recreational hall and a variety of municipal offices.
