Additional Property Attributes

Community Development Partners are in the process of acquiring the property from the City of Portland Housing Bureau with plans to develop 75 units of affordable family-centered housing. This project would draw on the City of Portland's N/NE Housing Preference Policy which gives housing point preference to those with personal, historical, or familial ties to the neighborhood in an effort to combat displacement. CDP will partner with Self Enhancement Inc., a local nonprofit that provides community and family support services to Black youth and families. Together they intend to provide resident services, large community gathering and event space with a full kitchen, classroom space, lounge space, outdoor space and children's play area, parking, and laundry at the site.

Former Use: Property has previously served as an auto storage facility and electric motor shop, a plumbing shop, an oil distributor, and residential.
