Additional Property Attributes

"Findings and conclusions of the Phase I ESA report are summarized below: The city uses a small tract of land on the far western Property boundary as a trap shooting range. Lead shot associated with shotgun use found in nearby surface soils could pose a threat to human health and any lead migrating into the nearby creek could pose a threat to aquatic life. The Wright One Stop gas station, located across 2nd Street to the southeast, had documented releases of petroleum into soils adjacent to 2nd Street. The subsequent soil excavation ceased at the right-of-way for 2nd Street and potential further impacts were not investigated. Surface topography suggests contamination has the potential to migrate either through the subsurface or via a drainage ditch under 2nd Street onto the subject Property. "

Former Use: The City of Salisbury plans on redeveolping this property into an industrial park. Currently, there are two buildings on site, which were formerly GE Energy and SEMCO facilities.
