Additional Property Attributes

The Site appears to have been vacant from as early as 1928 until it was developed with the present-day building at the northern corner of the Site (541 S. Santa Fe Avenue), sometime between 1943 and 1956. The building that is currently present at the eastern corner of the Site (545 S. Santa Fe Avenue) was constructed sometime between 1963 and 1974. The use of the building at 541 South Santa Fe is unknown from the date of construction until 1955 when city directory listings identify the property as a chiropractor�s office. This has held a variety of commercial uses since 1955, including an Italian restaurant, a tavern, a realty office, and a financial company. The use of the building at 545 South Santa Fe is unknown from the date of construction until 1975 when city directory listings identify the property as a dental lab. The building at 545 South Santa Fe has held a variety of commercial uses since 1975, including a shoe repair business, a tax service business, a notary business, a barber shop, cosmetics store, and a wireless phone store.
