Additional Property Attributes

The Phase II Addendum ESA has delineated the soil contamination to the north and the south onsite and the groundwater contamination to the north, south and east onsite. Further delineation of the soil is recommended offsite to the east and west and further delineation of the groundwater offsite to the west is recommended. This site began remediation under the Department's Petroleum Storage Tanks Section under funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. As the site is currently seeking closure through the Tanks Section, the BVCP recommends submitting a copy of the Phase II Addendum report to the Tanks Section for their review and comment.

Former Use: This 0.316-acre site is a former gas station that had three underground storage tanks (USTs). The USTs were removed from the site by the Department's Tanks Section in April 2010 with funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The site is currently owned by the Land Reutilization Authority, who are applying for a Brownfields Assessment to further assess the site to prepare for cleanup and redevelopment.
