Former Use: The site consists of approximately 1.8 acres with a 1,700 square-foot metal garage building located at 2100 West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas. The building is currently used as a maintenance shop for a lawn care company. Historical information indicates the site and surrounding area were developed as a mixture of commercial and residential development as early as the 1920s. The site was occupied by various commercial businesses including a welding shop, automotive repair shops, and a service station from the 1940s to the 1980s. Historical information also indicates several off-site automotive repair shops and service stations have been located within one city block (approximately 350 feet) east, west and south of the site from as early as 1947 to as late as 1994.
