Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site consists of a 0.16-acre parcel located at 213 Main Street in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas. The parcel is developed with a two-story building which is adjoined to the Texarkana Repertory Company (theater) building in a manner typical of historic downtown development. The subject building is currently vacant and is being used as a storage facility for the above-mentioned theater. Historical information indicates the site and surrounding areas have historically consisted of commercial development. It appears the site was developed as an auto repair shop as early as 1924. The site has since been used for financial businesses, commercial shops, and theaters.
