Additional Property Attributes

No RECs identified by Phase I ESA, but identified potential environmental issues of ACM, LBP and PCB. Recommended ACM Inspection, LBP survey, and PCB inspection. The site, which is comprised of five parcels of land that together encompass approximately 2.2 acres, is located south of downtown Springfield. Together, the five parcels contain 10 residential buildings and associated parking areas. The parcels are located on the north and south side of East Monroe Street, just west of the E. Monroe Street and S. Kimbrough Avenue intersection. The parcels that comprise the subject property are owned by Private Investments Inc., National South LLC, and Willow Walk LLC; all of which are owned by Ron Looney. All of the properties are managed by University Properties. Currently, the parcels that comprise the subject property are utilized for residential purposes (apartments, rental homes, etc.); however, 717 S. Kimbrough Avenue also contains the office for University Properties. Historical documents indicate that the site has been developed since at least the early 1900s and has always contained buildings used for residential purposes.

Former Use: The subject property is located south of downtown Springfield and is comprised of five separate parcels of land. The surrounding area primarily consists of residential properties.The subject property contains 10 residential buildings and associated parking areas. The buildings are primarily apartments and residential housing, although 717 S. Kimbrough also contains the office for University Properties. Utilities, including, water, sewer, gas, and electric, are provided to each of the properties.
