Additional Property Attributes

The site is located at 1603 Woodland Ave. in northwest Coffeyville, Montgomery County, Kansas. The property consists of approximately 23 acres of land with one single family home and one barn located on site. The site is currently used as residential property.

Former Use: Based on a review of the historical information, the site has been used for residential purposes since approximately 1981. Prior to 1981 the site was vacant. Railroad tracks have been present on the east side of the site since at least 1941. Surrounding areas to the north of the property have historically been used for residential and recreational purposes. Early aerial photographs indicate mining/quarry activities took place to the east of the property until the mid 1960�s. Since the 1960�s surrounding properties to the east of the site have been used as residential purposes. A major industrial and manufacturing facility owned by Sherwin Williams has been present to the south of the property since the early 1900�s. Based on information provided during a historical interview, soils at the site have been removed due to contamination associated with the Sherwin Williams facility located to the south of the site. The close proximity of this facility to the site is considered to be a REC.
