Additional Property Attributes

Earliest land use known was as part of an airport runway. Land use since 1979 has been as a baseball park. Based on the approximate age of the 2-story building, the building potentially contains ACM and LBP. The ESA identified no RECs at the property.

Former Use: The property is approximately 5 acres of athletic park owned by the City of Corpus Christi. The property was initially developed as a portion of the Cliff Maus Airport which operated from 1928 until approximately 1960. The property now contains three baseball fields, parking area, stands, and two buildings. The 2-story building has concessions, restrooms, office space and equipment storage. The single story storage building is used for lawn maintenance equipment storage. Construction dates are unknown, but it is believed that the 2-story building was built prior to 1985 and restrooms were added to the building in approximately 1991. The storage building was built in approximately 1996.
