Additional Property Attributes

The Borough of Columbia acquired the Giffuni Property in September 2005. A Request for Proposals was released in late February 2006, and the bids were due by April 10, 2006. PPF attached to QR 10, 1/1/06-3/31/06 Development responsibility was transferred to the Columbia Downtwon Development Corporation who has identified a developer and is presently negotiating with end users. The County of Lancaster recently awarded the development team a 250,000 Urban Enhancement Fund grant to assist with predevelopment tasks and infrastructure.
