Additional Property Attributes

Based on the Phase I and II Assessments, a BUSTR No Further Action letter was approved for the property. The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce will move forward with plans to redevelop the property.

Former Use: The property is currently owned by the Medina Chamber of Commerce and includes three structures which historically operated as gasoline filling and service repair garages. Currently, the property is used by the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce in 145 North Court Street and other structures are vacant. The first commercial use was indicated on the 1923 Sanborn which shows the property was a Traction Depot and Gasoline filling station. The property operated as a gaoline service station until the underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed in 1994. On December 9, 1994, the Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) issued a No Further Action Letter for incident #5240479.
