Additional Property Attributes

The defunct vacant hotel was demolished. The subject property has been redeveloped with a parking lot and outside gathering venue for operation by the Dow Event Center, which adjoins this property. This redevelopment significantly increases ability to expand parking and ouside venue opportunities and increased their viablility.

Former Use: The subject property was owned and occupied by various commercial/light industiral operations since at least 1901. These occupants included blacksmith, stables, taxi cab services, and various retail. In the 1970s the subject property was developed with a hotel conference center, which became vacant and was purchased by Saginaw County.
