Additional Property Attributes

This site was acquired by Saginaw County through tax reversion. Saginaw County sold the property to St Johns lutheran church, which occupies the adjoining property. This site was redeveloped with a paved parking lot and asssociated greenbelts to support a growing number of chirch members.

Former Use: The property was developed in the early 1900s with multiple structures, including auto sales and repair. All but one structure was razed by the 1950s, which was occupied by the Commission on Aging and used for a senior citizens center in 1978. A release was reported at this adjoining property on December 2, 1991. The release received a Type A Closure Evaluation on July 15, 1993. The Saginaw County Land Bank Authority is the current owner (2009) of the subject property. The assessment did not identify any contaminants and the property was sold and redeveloped.
