Additional Property Attributes

This property was acquired by Health Delivery Inc. following the completion of the assessment activities. This property will be redevelopmed in the near future by health delivery by a visiting nurses and medical professional office. This redevelopment is expected to result in the investment of at least 1,000,000 in private funds and create upto 5 new jobs.

Former Use: 130 N. Jefferson Ave: Former residential and commercial structures were present on the subject property from prior to 1901 until the 1950s and 1960s, including a drycleaner, warehouse/factory. By 1970, the property was redveloped as Michigan National bank. In 1995, the subject property is developed as a branch of the Bank of America. The adjoinging site to the northwest had a confirmed release of an unreported substance (Former BF Goodrich Building-a LUST facility). 131 N. Warren Ave: Operated as a cigar factory, blacksmith, & painting shop in 1901. By 1935, structures were razed and a filling station with 3 USTs were developed, with northernmost portion as a printing operation (vulcanizing). Structures were demolished and replaced with a parking area for banking operations (1969/1970). Past Owner/Occupants: Frank Marxer (grocer), Better Home Shop, United States Social Security Board, Jefferson Lunch, Avenue Beer Garden, Modern Cleaners, Stanley Vogel (automobile tires), Pure Oil Co, Sunocony Mobil Oil Co, Inc, Amoco Corp, Speedway Super Service, Michigan National Bank, Bank of America (owned by Towers Ltd Corp).
