Additional Property Attributes

The subject property was purchased by a redeveloper. The vacant defunct hotel and restaurant were demolished and the site prepared for redevelopment. The subject property was redeveloped with a Subway restaurant. In the future a second phase of development will include a professional office building . The completed redevelopment leveraged 638,000 in private investment and created upto 8 full time. The second phase is expected to result in an additional 1.25 mm investmnet and upto 10 more jobs.

Former Use: The subject property is on South Main Street (also identified as Midland Road or M-47). The subject property was initially constructed prior to 1937 with a residence and a motel (Rodeitchers). Since that time to the mid-2000s the property was used as a motel with a restaurant. The subject buildings were demolished in May 2011. Adjoining properties consisted of multiple filling stations with known releases on contaminants.
