Additional Property Attributes

The property was developed with a gasoline filling station and convenience store from 1955 until 2007, when operation at the property ceased. Structural demolition including fuel dispenser and underground storage tank (UST) removal occurred in September 2011. The City of Saginaw leveraged additional funding to support the removal of the USTs and demolition of the building. The City is coordinating the future redevelopment of this property.

Former Use: The property was first developed with a structure in 1955. The property operated as a gasoline filling station and convenience store from 1955 until 2007, when operation at the property ceased. Structural demolition including fuel dispenser and underground storage tank (UST) removal occurred in September 2011. This station became vacant and the City prioritized this site to remove the blighted building and USTs. Redevelopment alternatives are being established.
