Property Highlights

During redevelopment of the site, contaminated sediments will be excavated from the overflow channel for Bassett Creek. (PPF attached to QR 11, 4/1/06-6/30/06) The southwest corner of the site (i.e, the portion of the site to be redeveloped) was occupied by up to 10 asphalt aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) between 1947 and 1961. The southwest portion of the site is currently vacant; however, impacts to the site from the adjacent Bassett Creek also are present at the Site. Historically, filling/dumping occurred nearly along the creek and might have impacted the site. The portion of the site will be redeveloped is and has been primarily used for industrial purposes.

Former Use: Site use included 10 asphalt ASTs between 1947 and 1961, historic filling/dumping along the creek channel, and impacts from flood stages of the adjacent Bassett Creek.
