Additional Property Attributes

The project property supported greenhouse operations through 2002. The Village removed the fuel tanks, asbestos materials, and demolished the greenhouse structures 2004-2005. . Redevelopment and Jobs Potential: The site is currently zoned as Residential and discussions are ongoing with the Village as to the end use. The Village has proposed to run a road extension and utilities to the property and market the site as a subdivision development opportunity. They have estimated this remediation and expansion will create/retain 5 environmental specialist positions and 45 construction jobs at an average wage of $15/hour.

Former Use: Greenhouses and agricultural purposes until 2002. Property was farmed until 2014.
