Additional Property Attributes

The Pulgas Panhandle property is a former gas station that was abandoned for decades. The owner has temporarily renovated the former gas station office into a temporary real estate office out of which he operates his small business. In the long-term, this property will become below market rate housing. Three non-profit organizations-Habitat for Humanity, Eden Housing, and East Palo Alto Community Action Neighborhood Development Corporation (CAN DO)-have formed a partnership to develop the housing. These groups are currently in negotiation with the property owners to this and adjacent properties for acquisition. (PPF - Pulgas Panhandle, 2/4/05)

Former Use: Gas station and nursery
