Additional Property Attributes

Based on a Phase I ESA completed in November 2012, this site has documented soil and groundwater impacts related to the site's historical use as a retail gasoline facility and bulk fuel storage facility. Additional assessment appears warranted to determine if residual impacts remain on-site. A initial Phase II ESA completed in 2013 revealed lead and benzene in on-site groundwater above their respective State cleanup target levels. However, these constituents were documented below their respective natural attenuation criterias. Arsenic was found in soils above its State CTL. Additional soil investigation would be dependent on the proposed end use. A supplemental assessment conducted in September 2013 revealed no groundwater impacts above State cleanup target levels. Extensive supplmental soil assessment revealed only elevated levels of arsenic in soils. However the concentrations of arsenic may be represenative of naturally-occuring background concentrations. Note: Prior to consideration of an SRCO for this property by FDEP, additional sampling would be required (two consecutive sampling events with results below cleanup target levels).

Former Use: Site is currently vacant/undeveloped land. Historical land use has been documented to have been a retail gasoline and bulk fuel storage facility (until the early 1980's). Operations ceased prior to agency regulation.
