The site is approximately 200 acres of vacant land in Baton Rouge, north of Choctaw Drive, and behind the Bon Carre Business Center. It is being acquired by the RDA via donation from a consortium of 11 non-profit entities, including Tulane University, the majority owner

Former Use: This site was brought to our attention via our partner organization, East Baton Rouge Redevelopment Authority (RDA). The site is approximately 200 acres of vacant land in Baton Rouge, north of Choctaw Drive, and behind the Bon Carre Business Center. It is being acquired by the RDA via donation from a consortium of 11 non-profit entities, including Tulane University, the majority owner. The redevelopment ives of the property include workforce housing, mixed-use commercial and educational buildings to be used by the East Baton Rouge Parish School System�s Career Academy and an expansion of Baton Rouge Community College.
