Additional Property Attributes

o Phase I recommended a ground penetrating radar (GPR) to determine if there are on-site USTs associated with the former filling station; also recommended was a subsurface investigation to assess if the site has been impacted by petroleum .

Former Use: This site is developed with 16,750 square feet of buildings which are currently vacant but was previously used as a tire and muffler repair shop. A filling station appears to have been present on the northwest portion of the site by at least 1945 and remained on the site until the 1980s. The site has been used for a tire and maintenance shop since 1964. The current site owner is Thomas and Martha Diehl and David and Rhonda Diehl. Phase I identified a petroleum REC so switched from Hazardous funding to Petroleum funding based on historical use, staining and abutting petroleum property.
