Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The 2.43 acre site operated as a manufacturing plant from 1961 until the early 2000's starting with New Carolina Industries. Most recently, the site was utilized by Super Sturdy for manufacture of steel carts and hospital beds. The vacant, single story manufacturing building, owned by the town of Weldon, is 33,371 square feet. Two loading docks with gravel access are associated with the building. An empty oil drum and buckets are stored inside the building on concrete. Lack of access to a white brick storage building limited evaluation of the site.
