Additional Property Attributes

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection funded the removal of five underground storage tanks on the property in December 2006. The cost of tank removal was approximately $19,800. (PPF - Former Auto Service Station, 1/30/07) A Phase I/Tier Classification/Conceptual Phase II Scope of Work and Tier I permit were submitted to the MA DEP. (PPF - Former Auto Service Station, 4/27/07) The property owner has hired contractors to conduct soil removal. (PPF - Former Auto Service Station, 10/30/07) The MA Dept of Environmental Protection funded (approx $19,800) removal of 5 USTs in 12/2006. A release Abatement Measure Plan submitted to MA DEP. Property owner hired contractors to remove soil. Groundwater sample testing completed with no findings.

Former Use: A residence was on the property in the 1890s. Later, a gasoline service station was constructed on the property in the 1930s which operated through the late 1960s or early 1970s. Most recently, the property was used by an artist as a studio and for storage. The property is currently vacant.
