Property Highlights

A quote for removal of the debris pile was prepared and sublitted to the Town of Montague this quarter.

Former Use: The Strathmore Mill was constructed between 1874 and 1970, and consisting of 10 buildings located between the Connecticut River and the power canal in Turners Falls. Assessments on the site identified asbestos. In 2007, a fire destroyed Building #10 resulting in a debris pile comingled with asbestos containing materials. This debris pile was successfully cleaned up by the Town of Montague in 2013.
