Additional Property Attributes

A neighbor, Heat Controller, Inc., is interested in acquiring the property and razing existing building. New building will be built for warehousing space. Employee parking will be expanded. (PPF attached to QRs 1-4, 10/1/04-9/30/05) A neighbor, Heat Controller, Inc., has acquired the property and razed the building. The new addition is under construction and will be used for warehousing space. Employee parking will be expanded. (PPF attached to QR 7, 4/1/06-6/30/06)

Former Use: The subject property was first developed in 1953 by Michigan Fabrication and Welding. Michigan Fabrication and Welding reportedly utilized the subject property for the fabrication of structural steel. Multiple additions to the initial building were completed in the 1950s and 1960s resulting in the current building configuration. Michigan Fabrication and Welding activities continued on site until approximately 1977. The J.L. Peters Copmany subsequently utilized the subject property for the fabrication of structural steel. Overhead Conveyor began to occupy the site in 1998. Overhead Conveyor utilized the site for the manufacture of conveyor systems. Overhead Conveyor ceased operations on the subject property in approximately May of 2003.
