Electro Metallics, Inc. currently owns the Property. Electro Metallics, Inc. has performed electro-plating services at the Property since approximately 1970. Prior to 1970, the Property was used for automobile repair (circa 1965). An off-site business, Akers Packaging Service, Inc. (Akers) lies adjacent to the Property on three sides (excluding a narrow strip of land adjoining the east side of the Property which is owned by AK Steel). Akers is currently constructing an addition to its industrial plant to the south-southeast of the Property. Given the proximity of Akers to the Property, Akers asked the City of Middletown for assistance in evaluating environmental conditions at the Property and relative to its potential future acquisition to facilitate continued plant expansion.

Former Use: Electro Metallics, Inc. currently owns the Property. Electro Metallics, Inc. has performed electro-plating services at the Property since approximately 1970. Prior to 1970, the Property was used for automobile repair (circa 1965).
