The subject property is located in South Carolina�s Greenwood County at 700 Kitson Street in the City of Greenwood, South Carolina and is currently owned by the City.The subject property is located in a mixed-use area used for both industrial and residential purposes. Residential structures are located to the north, east, and west of the subject property with industrial structures located to the south and southeast ofthe subject property.The subject property is currently occupied by one administration building which is vacant and formerly associated with mill operations. The site has been assessed, and a cleanup grant was awarded September 30, 2015.

Former Use: The subject property was used as a mill for about 100 years. Currently, it is vacant and cleared of all buildings and debris except the mill administration building and the turnstile. Assessment is complete. An EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant was awarded. With that funding, the City's match, and a loan from the SC BCRLF, the site has been capped and a restrictive covenant has been placed on the property. The certificate of completion was issued on January 23, 2019. It is awaiting DHEC review of the close-out report.
