Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site has been developed since the late 1800s, beginning with dwellings. The railroad utilized this Site from sometime between 1888 and 1900 until sometime between 1900 and 1933 with rail lines, lumber, platforms and buildings associated with the railroad. The 1950 map shows that Lots 26 and 27 were used for auto storage until sometime between 1950 and 1989, when the current building was constructed. Waste paper haulers occupied this building until approximately 1975, when Global Iron Works occupied the Site. Empire Marble and Granite (also referred to as Empire Stone) obtained a certificate of occupancy in 2002.
