Additional Property Attributes

Proposed Phase II Environmental Site Assessment activities were to investigate Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) identified in a Phase I ESA completed in 2008 for the former Citadel Plaza, located in the Southtown Urban Life Development(SULD) Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District. The 15 properties were all commercial sites. Non-performing contractors, inability to gain access to privately-owned properties, and project uncertainties made it unnecessary to perform Phase II ESA activities at this time.

Former Use: The Site is comprised of commercial properties that are are currently vacant, vacant properties with buildings, and occupied properties. The properties were historically developed as gas stations/auto repair facilities, car wash, printers, dry cleaners, and a paint store. The Site was developed sometime prior to 1925.
